Who we are
This website is operated by Superior Landscaping | Design | Construction (“Superior”, “we”, “us”), a contracting business based in Hamilton, Ontario.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through buildwithsuperior.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the quote form, call, text, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you choose to provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, the property location, the service you’re interested in, your timeline and a description of the work.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
What we use it for
To respond to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, arrange a site visit, and carry out and invoice work you engage us for. We keep records of past work and correspondence as any business does.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email to people who have only requested a quote.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and carries no third-party tracking pixels.
When you answer the cookie notice, your choice is stored in your own browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. That is a preference held on your device, not a tracking identifier, and it is never sent to us.
If we add website analytics in future it will load only after you accept through that notice, and this page will be updated to name the provider and what it collects. Declining, or ignoring the notice, means nothing loads.
Who else sees your information
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes requests on our behalf. Where the quote form delivers by email, the message passes through our email provider. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Choosing to contact us by WhatsApp means your message is also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become projects are kept only as long as they’re useful for following up, then deleted. Records relating to work we have performed are kept as long as business, tax and warranty obligations require.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and we’ll deal with it.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
